Ingredients

  • some salt
  • 2 oz tequila blanco
  • 1 oz Cointreau
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1 lime wheel

Cookware

  • coupe glass
  • rocks glass
  • cocktail shaker

Method

  1. 1. Run a lime wedge around the rim of a coupe glass or rocks glass , then dip the rim in some salt to create a salt rim.
  2. 2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  3. 3. Add 2 oz tequila blanco , 1 oz Cointreau , and freshly squeezed 1 oz lime juice to the shaker.
  4. 4. Shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker becomes frosty.
  5. 5. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass over fresh ice (if using a rocks glass) or straight up (if using a coupe).
  6. 6. Garnish with a 1 lime wheel .
